Multi-Hill, stylized as Multi-Hill!, is a king of the hill style game mode available in Ace of Spades.

Two teams battle to capture designated areas as long as possible. Players capture a hill by standing within the designated area, which is denoted by a glowing box. The players screen will show a coloured border when they are within the hill. The box and border will change colour depending on the status of the hill:

  • White: The hill is unoccupied
  • Green: The hill is occupied by the green team
  • Blue: The hill is occupied by the blue team
  • Orange: The hill is 'contested' - players from both the blue and green team are present

If either team occupies the hill, then that team will earn one point each second. If the hill is unoccupied or contested, then no points are earned.

After approximately five minutes, the hill will 'expire' and will be targeted by an airstrike. This is indicated by a notification on screen, and an air raid siren. Several bombs will then fall from the sky accompanied by the sound of aeroplanes overhead, causing large amounts of damage to the terrain, and to any players remaining in the area. The hill will then move to a new location.

If the hill is above a structure, then destroying the structure will cause the hill to fall.

Class Selection

This is a combat heavy game mode, so the Commando is a good option. The Miner with the Pump-Action Shotgun and Double Barrel Shotgun is also useful when getting up close and personal in the hill. The Marksman can be used to pick opposing players off.

Players are visible on the minimap when they are within the boundaries of the hill. Players should pay attention to the minimap when occupying a hill so they can immediately see when other players are attacking.

The Miners Drill Cannon and Dynamite are useful for breaching any fortifications the opposing team may have built around the hill and gaining access quickly.

Players can use prefabs to give themselves some cover when the hill is in an exposed location, whilst blocks can be used to seal doors, windows etc. if the hill is in a building.
